2. [Air] GKN Aerospace completes sale of St. Louis site to Boeing

- 독일 항공부품 제조기업(GKN), 미국내 St. Louis 시설을 Boeing사에 매각

- 해당 시설은 Boeing F/A-18 및 F-15 전투기 부품만을 전용 생산 중이었음


3. [Land] Oshkosh receives additional order for ROGUE-Fires

- Oshkosh Defense 사, 미 해군/해병대에서 사용될 원격작동 지상발사대 수주
(Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires (ROGUE-Fires))

- 무인으로 운용하여 지상에서 발사하는 대함 미사일 장치 임
(Ground-Based Anti-Ship Missile (GBASM) operations)


4. [Sea] HII delivers Virginia-class submarine New Jersey to U.S. Navy

- HII 그룹의 Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) 조선소, Virginia-class fast-attack
submarine New Jersey (SSN 796) 함을 미 해군에 인도

- New Jersey 호는 NNS가 건조한 11번째 Virginia-class 핵잠수함 임


5. [Defense] Nordic defence ministers to meet April 29-30

- Nordic Defence Cooperation (NORDEFCO, 노르딕 국방회의) 가 4월 29일부터 30일까지
Faroe Islands 에서 개최됨

- NORDEFCO 는 Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden 5개국이
2009 년 창설 함
